How to clean AC

Are you curious about how to clean AC condenser coils? If you’re asking yourself that, then you probably have a complicated or old model that needs to be replaced. Just because you bought a newer or more energy-efficient model doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t bother with those old dusty, clogged units any longer. With the right tools, you can easily make sure that your condenser coils are cleaned out once and for all!

The first thing you need to do is open the breaker box of your unit. Inside the box, you will find the three wires that make up the electric motor. While you are pulling these wires, you should also unplug any other electrical devices from that box as well in order to prevent any shorts from forming. Once you have located the three wires, you should loosen them with the help of a screwdriver. Now, you should be able to locate the evaporator coil.

This type of coil cleaner works best when you are working inside the main part of the AC unit, which is the condenser. It can be difficult to clean a very old, dirty, or clogged unit, but this system is different. The coils are located on top of the compressor unit, and they are extremely dirty and clogged. To start cleaning the unit, you should use the cleaning solution that is included with your unit. Once you have applied the cleaning solution to the coils, then you should place them in the drain pan, which is located on top of the compressor.
